We are seeking a skilled and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the Exeter area. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware professional to play a key role in managing costs and contracts across a variety of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of commercial and contractual processes across projects.
- Prepare, review, and administer contracts from inception to completion.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and forecasts.
- Assess, manage, and mitigate commercial risks.
- Evaluate subcontractor performance.
- Prepare valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and company procedures.
- Liaise with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in a similar commercial role.
- Strong knowledge of contract management and commercial processes.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Water industry experience is advantageous.
- Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field preferred.
